In the world of jewelry, we currently have the most innovative designers who have ever created a ring, put together a necklace, or thought of a new kind of bracelet. We have jewelry designers akin to Alexander McQueen and edgy, out of the box fashion designers of his ilk. It is getting harder and harder to remain edgy in this industry. It seems like everything has been done already — several times, in most cases. And then you have Pat Flynn, a self admitted goldsmith, the designer behind Pat Flynn Inc. You have Pat, and designs like this one:

Can you tell what that is? If you’re like me, you have been sitting there and squinting at it for a while now, trying to figure out if you’re seeing what you really think you’re seeing. Don’t worry, you are. There is nothing wrong with your eyesight, your glasses, or your monitor. That is a nail. More to the point, that is a bracelet made out of a nail. Welcome to the wonderful, innovative world of Pat Flynn.
It is called the Top Half Sprinkle and it features one-third carat diamonds, eighteen carat gold, iron, and platinum.
