It seems like Bollywood and India inspired fashions has been all the rage for some time now, but these trends have especially blown up the scene since Slumdog Millionaire came out — and the trend has extended to jewelry, which many jewelry lovers will be very happy to learn. However, it extends even farther than that, with many jewelry designers becoming inspired by Native American jewelry as well.
Take, for example, this piece by Devon Leigh Sedlacek. First interested in filming and screenwriting, she first began designing her jewelry strictly as a hobby and mostly for herself. However, quite soon, the people she worked with in the industry started purchasing her pieces!
Her collections are known for their stunning mixture of different metals, from silver to gold to rhodium, with adornments of semi precious stones.
For instance, this cuff bracelet features a yellow chalcedony, which is a type of quartz. It comes in a whole variety of different colors, but Sedlacek chose yellow for her Yellow Chalcedony Indian Style Cuff.
