Mother of Pearl, What a Bracelet!

As we have stated many, many times before, it is truly a special occasion when you come across a jewelry designer who really and truly gives you something new. It may seem like an exaggeration to say that it is a special occasion, but just stop to think about it. The jewelry industry is beginning to mimic the clothing industry, in that it is becoming increasingly difficult to find something new. We are getting to the point where we have seen everything before, and everything is just a pale imitation of something else.
And then you have the jewelry of Sara Blaine, who actually started designing jewelry because — gasp! — she thought it would be fun, specifically to create pieces which reflected her own one of a kind aesthetic and style. So, back in 1999, she and Mendel, her husband, created Sara Blaine Jewelry.
You can see in her pieces that she still has fun designing. Just take a look at the eclectic but elegant Black and White Mother of Pearl Bracelet, with sterling silver and signature Keong disks.
